How it works

how matins works — capture, wait, read

three quiet steps. eleven frameworks. persistent memory across all your dreams.

01

Capture — speak when you wake

The moment your eyes open, before details fade. Open the Matins app and tap once, or send a voice note to our Telegram or WhatsApp bot. Voice-to-text transcription is automatic. You can also type. Average capture: twenty-two seconds. No setup, no friction.

02

Wait — three hours pass

Matins does not respond immediately. The dream is held for approximately three hours. During this time, Matins reads your dream against your full history — recurring figures, recurring places, your symbol frequency, your ninety-day emotional baseline — and selects the framework or frameworks that fit this dream. The three-hour delay is not a limitation. Insight that arrives immediately is shallow.

03

Read — a literary reflection arrives

A 400–600 word reflection lands in the app, by push notification, and optionally in the chat where you sent it. Symbols expanded. Archetypes noted. Sources cited with DOIs. A continuity note explaining how this dream connects to your history. Two or three reflection questions to carry into the day.
